This is my submission for the Swirlydoos Sketch Challenge this month using the wonderful and versatile "vintage chic" kit! I loved this kit!
My search on ancestry.com has led me in some amazing places. I found connections with distant relatives, but we'd have a shared relative, such as my THIRD great-grandfather! One had his pic and another the pic of the headstone. William H. Meredith was born in 1813 and died in 1885. His tale is quite interesting, in that before the Civil War, he owned a plantation in Florida...and then the next thing I find is that he and the family moved after the war to Alabama and he became a minister. Seems they lost it all, as many did.
