You did a wonderful job on this layout.. To think you don't like the way the flowers are I wouldn't have known that by looking. It's a beautiful layout.
I am usually not a fan of yellow but I love, love this layout. I am adding to my favorites and plan on scraplifting it if you dont mind. The flowers are what first caught my eye. Beautiful!
what a lovely photo; definitely a treasure! Love the way you did the journalling in the little stitched book, and I think your flower arrangement looks wonderful!
Beautiful heritage page Vickie! Actually, I think you are quite the expert on not only creating beautiful flowers, but arranging them on the page! Wonderful job!
Vickie! That is such an amazing photo of your grandmother! I loved hearing about the history of your family, too. Your page is so beautiful. I love what you did with the flowers - it looks like you effortlessly designed them on your page - not like a struggle at all!!!! And I love the colors and all of the other elements you have here! Just a wonderful heritage page - I Love it!!!!! Good luck with the challenge!
What a beautiful photo of your grandmother and you have scrapped it beautifully!! I love how you have done your journalling and the added stitching to the center of the "book" looks fabulous!! So many lovely details here and your floral work is beautifully done!! Love this!!
Say what???!!! You struggle with floral arranging? I've been thinking all of your floral arrangements have been perfect! This is just lovely, Vickie! LOVE that photo of your grandmother and all of your stamping and other little touches are great! Love, love, love that little booklet with your "handwritten" journaling. This is a WONDERFUL, heritage page! :o)
Really interesting page! The colors really work! And...don't try to make your floral arrangements the same as everyone else! That is what makes this page unique!
Wow, I like it. You did great flowers and love the way the journaling looks like a little diary. Great photo! A fur stole! My G=grandmother had one but I don't think we have a photo of her with it on. That was back when it was REAL fur!
WOW!! Beautiful!!!! I love the soft, muted color choices you used here, they go so perfectly with the beautiful photograph of your Grandmother! Especially love the little book with all of the information written in, a very nice touch. (so funny, am working on something now that has a little book in it too) I think your arrangement of florals and embellishment is very romantic and beautiful looking!!! And this layout is a fave for me!
This is my maternal Grandmother Gina. She came to the US from Italy on Oct. 25, 1919 and married my Grandfather Natale on December 13, 1919. This is one of the few photos I have of her when she was young. This is my submission for the April Stampin on your LO challenge. I struggle with floral arranging and am not too happy with this - but I just KEEP trying. TFL and as always, your words of encouragement are deeply appreciated!
