yes it is close to the road but between the road and the water is the seawall what was bild afther the 1900 sturm and protectet us verry good when huricans comming. The seawall is presently 10 miles (16 km) long. It is approximately 17 feet (5.2 m) high, and 16 feet (4.9 m) thick at its base
looks cold... so much water too! :) (coming from a very much land-locked me) The only time we see lots of water here, is in spring when the river floods (and thank goodness, it doesn't reach me at all) or when we head to the lake. :) Love the curl of the waves.
looks like a good day to get WET! So vastly different than here in the desert. cool shot, I like the white lines. I'm betting I have stood in that same place a few times, but never in wet or wind.
