What a beautiful and special tribute to your mother. I love the layout and photograph of her. My mother passed away 2 years ago last March and last Saturday would've been her 86th birthday. Been missing her a lot lately. Love all the elements and colors you used on this. She was a "purdy" girl! :-)
Wow...never mind pretty, your Mom was gorgeous!! What a fabulous job you have done in scrapping this lovely photo; beautiful pps, punching, colours and flowers. Love the stamped and embossed dress form, the beautiful cameo with the red ribbon and the cute chippie mirror! A stunning and enchanting creation filled with superb detail!
Hello All! I am so happy to be adding a LO after two busy months. My mom passed away in July. She was 86. This is a photo of her when she was about 13 or 14 (I'm guessing). Her granddaughter always makes me laugh mocking mother saying "I was not very Purdy". I think she was a cutie pie blondie!
All of the papers in this are from The Paper Studio Haberdashery Pack. It is Kraft stock with beautiful embossing.
Thanks to Kelly - KVRLVN for several goodies, the beautiful B/W acetate border, the ruler border, Cherish chippie and the Hand Mirror chipboard. Also a big thanks to BonniePratte for the handmade red flower doily w/button!
I fussy cut the dressform on the left and threaded the acetate border under it. There are three other dress form stamps I used as well. The large red button is from my mother's stash.
Recollections covered button, red doily & black embossing powder Paper Studio Red fabric flower with button. Studio112 bling Vintage dressform stamps from Lost Coast Designs
