Wow what an amazing piece of history. I love that flyer you printed from the internet. I can imagine how hard those tiny letters were to get on the state. It was well worth it though it looks great.

Wow! This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I think this would have been about the time my ggf and family went to Texas. My GF was born in Texas in 1895 and then they came back to Alabama. You are doing a great job on the journaling!
Apparently my great great grandfather took part in at least one of the OK land rushes. I found this photo at his home, it was a long cardboard photo that had cracked. I copied the portion that had him in it to use here. I have no idea where or exactly when this is.
I cut the title and the state shape and the word OK with my silhouette, gosh those tiny letters were difficult to work with! The info and the flyer came from the internet. I sititched the border to signify the movement into that territory.
