I'm starting my Christmas projects early. :) I have two very dear aunts (my dad's sisters) and its getting a bit difficult to think of gifts to give them during the holidays, so I thought I would create a little LO for each one of them.
Aunt Crystal wore her fashions in blue hues. Not sure if that is her favorite color, but she appeared very stunningly....always dressed to the hilt. So I decided I would create this LO in hues of blue.
This is her and Uncle Alvie. I believe the photo was taken in the early 1950s. Unfortunately there is nothing written on the back, so I just have to go by other photos seen of them.
I was very blessed to have been the recipient of my MIL's crafting supplies when she decided to retire from crafting. Most of embellishments are from her. I made these tiny tufts of ruffled fabric and tucked one piece in the middle on each side.
I plan to buy a frame for each one and just not use the glass....it will be similar to a shadow box concept, but will be in a frame instead.
