My brother & sil were visiting me in Seattle and they had never met my DH before, and unfortunately my DH couldn't spend the day in Seattle w/ us and come meet my brother & his wife because he & had to pack up his G.ma's house and get it on the market for sale to pay for her asisted living.
It was Seafair weekend (hydroplane/boat races) and the I-90 bridge closes a couple times a day for a couple hours for the airshow. So I picked up my brother & sil really early and we mad dashed it out to Issaquah so they could meet my husband and FIL and mad dashed it back to Seattle before Seafair traffic hit and the bridge closed.
The top pic is an ariel view of the I-90 floating bridge I found online & I made a pocket out of it for the journaling (peeking out) & the bottom 2 pics are of my DH's G.ma's back yard. She lived on the Issaquah creek for the past 65 years.
