"Our Princess is a Miracle!"

I hope all of you will bear with me as I share this miracle that took place in our family. My great niece "Maddie" who is 4, was playing on an exercise trampoline Easter afternoon, no one saw what happened, but she went to her mom & dad with her head down saying her teeth hurt. They took her to the ER in Greeley, CO. A CT scan showed she had broken her neck & was transported by ambulance to the Children's Hospital in Denver about 60 miles away. Request for prayer went out to churches, family, & friends. She had an MRI showing a break by her growth plate in her neck. On Monday morning 40 doctors met (this must be a HUGE hospital) & had 3 options, a body cast, surgery, or the halo. They opted for the halo & my nephew & his wife signed the papers to have the procedure done this morning. The doctor came back later in the afternoon & really wanted to do another CT scan, but they are always concerned about the exposure to radiation. All agreed to have it done. Later the doctor came in & said he had NEVER seen this before, but there was NO break! She had a severe sprain & would have a brace & PT for a while. This is a PRAISE THE LORD & an answer to prayer!! God worked a miracle in our little Maddie & we are so blessed.

I have been so excited & I just had to share what a good & gracious God we serve.

Maddie is all about being a princess & when they took her to the hospital she was wearing her pink tutu & her tiara!:) This is her get well card with all her favorite colors. Thanks for listening, my heart is so full today! Blessings~Marylou
