By all means use it! I recently bought one on a somewhat smaller scale that was used in a hotel as room key slots. I love it. I found jars that fit beautifully in the slots and now use it to store my flowers. You'll find a use for it. Can't wait to see what you do with your room - you have some neat stuff!

Boxing it up!!! What a mess!!! This is an old post office table/mail slot. My DH found it for me and brought it home. I'm keeping it and I think I've finally found the storage usage for it.
