I've been experimenting with various concepts that would allow me to make a scrapbook layout that would be ready to go "off the rack" so to speak, for customers to simply & easily attach their photos to but that also didn't need to be stored in an album, or be designed in a mini album, and could be made quickly with minimal creative planning or labor... Like a one size fits all scrapbook layout? And I think I've found one! The time for labor on this project was less than 2 hours. I went over the title with acrylic gel medium. You can hang this with the twine hangar that is visible at the top, though not in this picture. I put a price of $14.95 on it at the Artisan's Co-op. It's a board backing I got for .50 cents at a thrift store an old poem plaque I picked up for materials, I had planned to decoupage it... Everything else was from my stash. Let's see if I sells! I didn't put scrapbook layout on the price tag, I called it photo display decor. Maybe the next one should say, Decorative photo display decor? Idk, maybe I should push the scrapbook aspect ? I'd love for you tell me what you think! I've finally got my art studio 100% settled and organized since my last move in July 2013. Maybe that's why I got it done so fast! The title came first and I used the rulers on the paper to tie it all together for the theme, though I'm sure you caught that! I used a paper from the snapshot stack from DCWV. The title is from a Basic Grey collection called Fact & Fiction. The fringe you see around the outside edge is actually frayed burlap edge.. The back is covered & finished in burlap cuz it has to look nice if your gonna sell it, and I couldn't cover the back with paper like I usually do because of the glue & twine on the back. Thanks for looking!
