I feel like this layout should be explained. This was from an event called Cochon Cotillion that is supposed to be a satire of a Mardi Gras ball. I was trying to do a layout differently than how I usually put one together…generally, I was trying to be more artsy. I framed the photo strips with stamping that was done in clear embossing powder. I painted over that with amethyst color shine from Heidi Swapp and a color shine that I mixed myself with a metallic green paint and water. It so didn't come out the way that I had imagined it in my head, so now I'm pretending that the purple and green circle are supposed to be a king cake even though it doesn't have yellow in it. Also spilled a bunch of the amethyst color shine all over the bed…this layout kept making me very angry. (Luckily the color shine mostly washed out.) I made the title with some really old chipboard that I bought when I first started scrapbooking years ago. I bought a bunch of it for really cheap and they all had this printed coating on it. I've been scrapping for about 7 years now and I have barely used the stuff. So I coated them with several layers of gold embossing powder.Products used: -background paper is from Moxxie called Road to Recovery-chipboard frames from a very old American Crafts line called Letterhouse-pinked punch from Martha Stewart crafts-stickers from a very old Bo Bunny sticker sheet called Flutter Butter-purple Perfect Pearls from Ranger
