Hi and welcome to my July Memory Keeping Monday! I had such good luck with my layout last month I was a little nervous about what I would be able to follow it up with. I think I came up with something worthy! I hope you'll enjoy it.This month one of our themes was ‘chipboard’. I love chipboard. It adds a fun amount of dimension without being too big & bulky. But you know me, I couldn't use just a little chipboard! I recently asked on my blog what your dream workshop would be and several people mentioned that they'd like to have one that helped them use their stash. That got me to thinking…I've got a stash…so this week I am incorporating some ‘stash’ chipboard into my layout. You can see that I'm updating it by covering it with washi tape. Now, nothing was wrong with the chipboard. I could have eventually used it ‘as-is’ but hey, at least I've used it now!The free fonts used for the Silhouette title are Blanch Caps and English Essay.A note about the layout…the title ‘Party Rock’ is certainly tongue-in-cheek.:) As parents of young kids we rarely get to go out, but when we do we manage to live it up.:) This particular photo and layout is about my husband's 20yr high school reunion. Here is a video that shares my thoughts & ideas on how the layout came to be…In addition to the supplies I used I've also linked up some additional supplies that could have been used on this page. Including a few different chipboard shapes that would be fun to cover in wash! As with each Memory Keeping Monday video we have a CHALLENGE as well. Your CHALLENGE is to find some chipboard in your stash and use it…either repurpose it or use it as-is!
