Fun challenge! I think I often use text as a design element - used to do it more…now not as much. I need to think about it more though! For this one, I created the wordart by simplifying the text and using the “liquify” distortion tool to add the skew/wave look to it. I scanned in some hand-drawn flourishes to add to the text after I did the distortion.
