To create this card I first decided on the paper I would use to paper piece her tutu, that determined the card base color. Then I used Spellbinder's die to cut the oval for the mat, ran the mat using a Cuttlebug folder (polka dots). Using a brayer I added glue to the dots and sprinkled with loose glitter & set aside to dry. I then stamped the image once on white and once on the polka pp & cut tutu from pp. Colored image using watercolor pencils. I stamped & heat embossed the sentiment. I marked placement for the die (allowing the the arm to extend beyond the oval) and cut. I did the paper piecing, added the bow, mounted to the bg mat and assembled the remainder of the card & attached the glittered button.I REALLY HATE loose glitter! It took me longer to clean up that mess than it did to create this whole card.
