These cards were made using distress ink bgs made months ago. To make them I ‘layed’ Ranger distress inks directly onto the craft sheet, spritzed that with water and layed dampened watercolor paper into the ink and allowed it to soak up the ink. I recently received a generous RAK from LickeyAn, among other things it contained a beautiful Spellbinders Flourish Stencil/Embossing plate. I couldn't wait to use it. I layed the stencil on newsprint and after spraying it generously with TH Adirondack inks denim & bottle, I used the stencil as a stamp. I kept the card designs really simple so that the bgs are showcased.
