The card measures 3“ wide and 3.75” tall).<br>This card satisfies <a href="http://studiocalico.blogspot.com/2010/01/cha-challenges.html [studiocalico.blogspot.com]“>three Studio Calico challenges</a> (probably satisfies the ”use your stash" challenge, too…): use hearts on a project, draw on a project, and use the technique in the whitewash tutorial.<br>I punched out tiny hearts with an old punch I have and glued them to a piece of white cardstock. I used the basic idea of the whitewash tutorial (click for link) with my acrylic paints (white with tiny amounts of red and yellow to make a creamy color).<br>Then I doodled with a black pen over one of the hearts after everything dried. I totally copied the idea from the Finally Friday video for the ribbon.<br>On the inside there's a pale lavender block of cardstock for writing my message, and I glued down three hearts (no whitewashing) and doodled on the front one.<br><br>Supplies:<br>cardstock<br>ribbon<br>heart punch<br>corner rounder punch<br>acrylic paint<br>
