I had a wonderful birthday today–thank you for all your well-wishes! One of my presents was to go have a picnic at South Beach Park, then walk out to the South Jetty, where I hadn't been before–only partway with Allen. So all 3 of us (miracle!) did that, and there was fabulous sun and wind and coolth, and we had a grand time.I'd taken Allen's bike, because I didn't think he'd be able to walk that far, and he did a great job riding up hills, being responsible and staying within sight (neither of us could have caught up with him had he decided to make a run for it), and being in a good mood the whole time.
