Here's my entry for Far North's Ispird challenge. First off, there are so many projects here to get inspiration from, I could do this challenge weekly!I got inspiration from our fabulous hoster, Jan! and prospurring! Here's Jan's card~http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/188311-far-north/1900688-beautiful-butterflies/ [twopeasinabucket.com]andAnne's~http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/379335-prospurring/1834974-2ps-wsw12-archives-cheerful-thinking-of-you-card/. [twopeasinabucket.com]I started with a green card stock base. I stamped various images from Tim Holtz( I can't recall the set name) using the method of inking up your stamp, then spritzing it with water. I used distress inks in Dusty concord, peeled paint and peacock feathers to do this. I stamped my 3 butterfly images(inkadinkado)on to light blue card stock and colored them with the same distress inks. For the larger butterfly(inkadinkado) I stamped that onto white cardstock, using the same water spritz method with distress inks in peacock feathers and dusty concord. I dabbed alcohol inks in eggplant, cranberry, lettuce, and gold. Cut out and added some rhinestones. Next, using glossy cardstock, I inked up my paper with alcohol ink in Bahama blue( i think!, I need to check that). Once dry, I inked up my Hero Arts large flourish background stamp with white gesso and stamped that onto my alcohol inked piece. Once dry, I sponged some distress stain in Peacock Feathers. I was really inspired by both projects. I was really drawn in by the colors and the beautiful imagery. Thanks for the inspiration ladies!
