Just thought I'd add one more. The Old Spanish Days Fiesta in Santa Barbara is held every August. I would say it's the West Coast's version of Mardi Gras. My family has been in Ventura County since 1976..and SB is just up the 101 from us. The town virtually shuts down and parties for three days. There are stages of dancers performing everywhere, the big parade, and carousing and partying at night. I've enjoyed all aspects of it over the years! LOL. The confetti eggs are huge of course, what's a fiesta without them!? I love the shot of Marissa picking out hers. Can you see how she's holding her little hand in anticipation? LOL. It's not a fiesta unless you get conked on the head with a egg full of confetti. If you notice that frilly dress of hers…she's wearing it in other layouts.you all must think it's the only dress she owns. Really though, she insisted on wearing that thing all summer. She cried when she outgrew it and we passed it on to her cousin Bailey. TFL!
