Welcome to this week's episode of Memory Keeping Monday! I'm happy to share my first video with you. Today, I've made a page depicting the three things my son wants to be when he grows up. The idea came from one of his homework assignments where he had to research occupations and write out what he wanted to be and why. This was the jumpstart to the page.I gathered patterned papers from the Chap collection by American Crafts and embellishments from October Afternoon to start the page. I used the Silhouette Cameo to make vellum envelopes (a great place to store memoribilia including my son's handwriting) and the custom file folder at the top, which reinforces the office feel of the layout. I used Flair (or Tin Pins) to decorate the envelopes and add dimension to the page. Some grey twine and alphabet letters complete the page. Thanks so much for watching. And bear with me please, this was my first video and I'm still learning!Your challenge: Want to play along? Just use this sketch OR use memorabilia on a layout and share it with us in the gallery! I'd love to see what you create. Just be sure to check the correct challenge box ensuring your submission attaches to this week's episode!
