Thank you to Camille and Two Peas for this fun and easy challenge. The second I saw the cards that had been posted to the challenge blog, I knew I wanted to do this one.
I had problems with getting smooth coverage with my inks today–maybe because I wasn't using the usual distress inks since I couldn't find three colors that I wanted to used. I ended up using watercolors, and I like the way they look.
CARD: 4 1/2“ x 6 1/2” Bazzill cardstock 140-lb. hot-press watercolor paper (focal image and ombre background) Talens Transparent Watercolours (They come in a tin; art department of craft store.) Paper Inspirations, H9736, Watercolor Pressed Flowers Versafne Onyx Black ink pad Cuttlebug Plus A2 Embossing Folder, Lake Door (This was a very generous RAK (Thank you, Ann.); it embosses and die cuts. I cut out the center to make a frame.)
