I made these cards for StampingMatilda's Challenge on Two Peas in a Bucket, I Fall to Pieces.

Cards 1 & 2 -- 4 1/4" x 6 1/4"
Card 3 -------- 6 7/8" x 4"

FOCAL IMAGE:
Stamp Happens (Cottage Garden Collections: Amish)
140-lb. hot-press watercolor paper
VersaFine Onxy Black ink
Ranger's Super Fine Clear Embossing Powder
Bazzill cardstock
Talens Opaque Watercolours
Talens Transparent Watercolours

SENTIMENTS:
Rubber Stampede (Cynthia Hart: Home Sweet Home)
Hero Arts (Thinking of You)
VersaMark ink
Ranger's Seafoam White Embossing Powder

This is the first time I've stamped this image. It's also the first time I've used these tins of paint. They look like a children's set of paints, but I bought them in the Art Department of a store. I couldn't see any difference between the opaque and the transparent paints except that one came with a tube of white opaque paint, and the other came with a tube of white transparent paint. Also, some of the colors in the two boxes were the same, some were different.

I had a lot of fun playing with these paints. They were very forgiving. I was able to un-do colors by brushing them with clear water. That came in handy when I cut out the circles. All of a sudden, the mistakes were glaring, but I was able to repair them.

I used Nestabilities Circles (both the large and small sets). The image's circle is 1 1/4" (3.15cm) diameter; the mat's circle is 1 6.5/16" (3.5cm) diameter.

It took pure courage to stamp the sentiments on these cards. I've been working on them for two days, and I didn't want to ruin them. I used a Stampamajig to help me out. I remembered to use an anti-static bag. I forgot to use VersaFine Onyx Black on the second card like I had planned to. I was immensely grateful that all ended well.

TFL.
