Card measures 5“ by 6 1/4”.
Cardstock is Bazzill.

I ran the cardstock through the Xyron machine and then attached the foil. I wished I'd paid more attention to the hints for laying down the foil that Sue offered on the Discussion Thread. Next time.

I put the cs/foil through the Cuttlebug with the Textile embossing folder. Then I used the polished stone technique with Adirondack rust, butterscotch and latte alcohol inks, copper mixative, and blending solution.

I stamped the Quiet Fire Design sentiment on cardstock with VersaMark and heat embossed it with Kettle Copper Detail EP from Michael Strong. Then I cut and embossed it with a Nestabilities Small Label die-cut. I edged it with SU Really Rust Marker (terrific color).

Thank you Sue and Sara for your challenges. I've been wanting to try the embossed foil for a long time, and I bought some lovely quotes from QFD that I've never used. Now that I've done this once, I'm sure to do it again. TFL. Daria

ETA: Polished Stone is just the name for the technique where you apply drops of alcohol ink on the felt ink applicator and start pouncing it around. You can also add the metallic mixatives and blending solution to the felt. I know you guys already know this technique. Maybe you're not familiar with the name. I read about using alcohol inks with the embossed foil in a Technique Junkies Newsletter where they call it AI Foil Technique. They applied the ink before embossing. I applied it after. Next time I'll do it their way to see the difference. Daria
