Welcome to another lesson in the series 213 in 2013!I'm very proud to introduce you to my new 213 in 2013 video!!! This week, I've got 5 fun prompts for you to get you motivated to scrap. You are free to be inspired by all 5 or just pick the one you like best!213 in 2013 is a series of weekly lessons where the Garden Girls and I will provide you with a list of 213 creative prompts by year's end. See the list of prompts so far this year here .THIS WEEK'S PROMPTS:1. Use photos a relative took of YOU2. Mix Color and b&w photos3. Use Project Life products on your layout4. BIG TITLE = BIG IDEA!5. Feathers are trendy!A little bit about each prompt:1. We just got back from vacation and it was time I emptied my camera to admire the pictures we took on our roadtrip to Brittany. What a funny surprise to come accross this serie of photos Damien took of me while I was trying to clean the lense! Using photos of you on a layout doesn't mean you have to talk about yourself - for example, these photos of me - which are NOT the best photos ever - remind me of our trip, of fun moments. It is a moment in time where laughters, fun times and love were all together. So you can definitely scrapbook about yourself without talking about yourself - think about a memory, or maybe you can ask the person who took the photo to tell you what it reminds them of you :)2. I like to mix color and b&w photos in my scrapbook. It gives way more contrast to your project!3. Project Life are not only for your Project Life but you can use them as tiny pieces of patterned papers too! On this layout, I'm using them as laerying items, helping me to add depth and contrast to my project. Cut them, layer them with PL cut files, sew them - they will be awesome on your next layout!4. I cut this BIG title using my Silhouette - I knew I wanted it to be 12inches wide, so I just wrote my title on my Silhouette software, made it 12inches wide and send to cut! I got rid of one part of the title as I lost a few letters on my way to my scraproom, so I replaced them with October Afternoon alpha stickers :)5. Feathers are trendy! Yes! Lots of manufacturers are offering us feathers at the moment and I love them all! Whether you use stickers, real feathers, stamps, die-cuts, feathers will give a trendy look to any of your projects! Let's check the video now!I'm challenging you to choose at least 1 of these prompts in your layout submission..2 or 3 is even better! At the end of the month we'll draw a winner from all challenge participants for the month and reward them with a $10 2Peas Gift Certificate! Look for the winner on the Two Peas blog.
