Hip Kit Club DT Layout April 2014

Thank-you for joining me in making my first layout using our April hip kit! I really wanted this layout to be fun and bright as i decided to use some beach pictures. I love that this months kit has a variety of embellishments, thickers, colors, and ephemera to work with. I started the layout with a cluster of three photo on the right side of the page. I then added the Polaroid frames around them to add in some layering and a little bit of color. From there, I started placing the embellishments in small clusters around the photos. Lastly, I added some gray washi tape to help naturally move your eye to the focus of my layout, the photo. Thanks for creating with me this week!
