Journaling reads" Another 296 miles on the road and we arrive in Fort Stockton, Texas. The RV campgrounds are east of the town so we have to go back 3 miles for gas at Exxon but it puts us on the right side of town for the next day and it is right off Interstate 10 – which we will take across the entire state of Texas – 850+ miles. We picked it up at the corner of New Mexico and through El Paso. I had no idea that El Paso was such a large city! Wikipedia gives the population estimate from the U.S. Census of 674,433, making it the 19th most populous city in the United States. Tomorrow we will arrive at the San Antonio KOA and be able to take a rest for a few days. "
