Great pic of Mama and Daddy with Aunt Gladys and Uncle William. It's hard to believe they're all gone now...special memories!! I did a layout with these papers a long time ago...your's blend together better than mine did!
I laughed at your comment on wash tape.....and I can identify with it!!! I had bought a dozen or so rolls and so far have used two strips!!!! lovely, heartwarming LO!
From left to right: This is a photo of my Daddy, my Mama, my Aunt Gladys and my Uncle William (mama's brother).
Journaling reads: "Mama and her sister-in-law, Gladys, always got along so well. Aunt Gladys was always so soft-spoken and happy, smiled all the time. As they got older they weren't able to travel back and forth to visit in person, but they did talk on the phone nearly every week. circa 1990"
This layout was done using OLD stuff from my stash. All inking is in black. The title is hand-lettered. The blue strip is stamped with black to tone is down and then I used a corner punch on it. The striped pp came with the fancy cut edges. Black scallops were done with the apron lace punch. Then I added some lace and buttons. Lastly, I added a strip of that washi tape that I've been collecting (just had to have) and never can figure out what to do with it! LOL! At least now I can honestly say I've used it :D. Thanks for stopping by...
