More photos from the Viet Nam Memorial in Angel Fire, NM. The Huey helicopter played an enormous part in the jungle conflict. The journaling reads: The Huey was a true hero of the jungle - the warriors' lifeline, providing transportation, supplies and fire power as needed. It also served in rescuing the wounded, providing medical aid and transporting fallen warriors.
The lily embellie is a vintage cigarette silk, a promotional item from the 1930s.
