A beautiful vintage frame becomes a DIY shadowbox to display family memorabilia and heirlooms. The box configurations were made using Tim Holtz Configuations boxes. The sides were all painted and antiqued. The back of each section has a piece of coordinating paper acting as the backdrop for memorabilia. There is another image in my gallery of the entire shadow box showing the vintage frame with a wooden box back to hold the configurations. The frame and box are joined at the top with heavy-duty hinges and there are magnetic closures at the bottom to hold the frame closed.
The organization and decor in this studio is highlighted in Scrapbook.com's free Get Organized Class.
The studio was also featured in the August 2014 issue of Where Women Create magazine.
