Grandparents Heritage LO for my book. These are the two people who opened their hearts and home to adopt my mother and her twin sister. They met at Pearl Harbor, he was a pilot & she was a nurse. Sound famliar? But it's true. They met and married there. My grandfather exscaped Italy during one war as a young boy just to return to Italy as a young man to fight for the United States in another war. I only met him once in my lifetime. He died in Germany at an Officers Dance long after the war ended. But my mother idolized him and made sure I knew every thing I could about him, his life, his stories! My Grandmother lived a long fullfilled life after the war, working as a nurse at a local hospital.
The floral basket I cut out of a card I saved, the border punch is martha stewart but could not locate it in store to mark it for you. I think it has been discontinued, not sure. TFL!
