This must have been so hard to scrap, as it coincided with so many sad thoughts as well as happy ones, and yet you managed to make this page a really joyful fun Christmassy celebration! Love it!
I have just spent some time going through your gallery looking at your layouts. We are all beginners at some time, the thing is to enjoy the process and tell a story. You are surely doing that. This will be the beginning as I am sure that in the future somewhere are the thoughts of an album for your other son. We have also had the first Christmas without our 17 year old grand daughter who passed in April 2014. It isn't easy for sure so my thoughts are with you. I spent some scrapping time over the holidays, doing pages for each of the other grandchildren's albums - of the last photos of Summer and her funeral page as well. It did help as hard as it was. Keep up your beautiful work and enjoy the process. Blessings to you and yours from New Zealand
As most of you know, my 6 year old son passed away last January. As a matter of fact, the one year anniversary of his death will be the 26th of this month. The Christmas season that just passed, was the hardest I have ever experienced, as it was my first without my son.
Anyway, my therapy is scrapping! :-D So, this is his last Christmas with us, Christmas 2013. He got his very first bike from Santa and it was an awesome Christmas.
Thank you, to all of you, for your beautiful supportive comments and support. It means an incredible lot.
