Fran, I Love what you have done with this LO--- what a beautiful memory for your Mom. Love what you did with the lace on the frame and the stickles around the banner and the large circle. Everything is Beautiful!!!!!! My Mom is 94 and I just did a LO of her going to ceramics with a friend. Cherish all those memories. HUGS

Fran: I sense so much love and strength in this beautiful lo! I am so touched by your sentiments and embellishments that compliment them. I am so sorry about the loss of your sister. May you always be able to smile when you look at this gorgeous tribute to the special women in your life.
Hi Fran. This is a very beautiful page full of love. Sorry about your sister and about your concerns for your Mom. May you always get lots of therapy from your wonderful paper creations :o)Ro
My dear mom is now 94 yrs. old, and my sister, Mary, passed away 23, soon to be 24 yrs. ago. I have wanted to scrap this pic for a long time and decided that now is the time. With Mary gone and my mom not well, I choose to remember happy times and smiling faces. This LO depicts happiness and beauty; something I see in both faces.
Thanks to Gabi P. for the lovely Webster's die cut circle. The large white flower is from my sweet daughter, Mrs. Bean; thanks so much, Laura. Thank you Karen, Lost Coast Scrapper, for the pretty stamp which I used on the background paper.
The die cut dragonfly is from Gina's Designs, which was painted with Gesso, then acrylic paint, before adding glitters. I cut a frame and wrapped it with lace for softness but kept the rest of the design simple so as not to take away from the pretty, die cut circle
Special thanks to my wonderful scrappy friends here on sb.com who support me and offer encouragement. To those who leave a comment for me, please know that it is much appreciated.
