I love this photograph of my little brother...one of my ALL time favs! My little brother's name is Harley and he has downsyndrome...but he is forever reaching higher...so I created this layout to remind him that he needs to learn all the little lessons that go along with the little steps he has to take before he can get to the big ones! Did this one a couple months ago and I can't remember all the products I used...sorry ladies! I tore the background paper and then re-glued it back together to add some texture, paper bag and pocket as well as CS were all sponged with Ranger Distressing Inks, Twill measure-tape ribbon was wiped w/ ranger inks also, as were the buttons (karen foster design). I had a little bag of these victorian labels, but none of the sentiments worked, so i opened paint on my comp., used the rectangle tool and filled it in w/ black, then added the text (little for the title and reach for the picture tab) in a butter color...printed, rounded the corners and cut my own slots (which could be done w/ the basic grey notch tool now that that is out). I stamped the iron work designs on the top corners in black. I used fiberscraps ez walnut ink tintz to color the gingham ribbon and the string on the tags. I then inked the grade school lined paper stamp with the ez tintz ink and stamped distressed tags to include my journaling on. I haven't filled in the journaling quite yet...need to really think about that bit...each tag was labeled with the measure-tape twill : 1, 2, 3..like little steps in even increments. Thanks for looking! {<3}
