"...a rather simple card..." she says! If this be the case, I must see a not-so-simple-card! lol I think I may have to browse your gallery when I need to take a break from sorting and packing! This is amazing! Love the piece of belt! I'm getting the feeling you are a 'use it up' kind of crafter. Looking forward to see what comes from your craft room in the future! =)
Oooo love the Mica flakes! Great card Elizabeth, and resourceful too! You have the most creative ideas; you may have started something with the belt leather...~
Oh for the love sister, you cease to amaze! Before I read I was looking & thinking boy does that look just like leather. I will have to ask her how she made that!!:)) Yes, the drawer liner is so very clever, but the belt that is awesome! Now to the card....it is beautiful & what a great stamp. I like the mica flakes too. I will be waiting for your next "trick up your sleeve"!:)
Here's a rather simple card I made for my brother in Texas using Close To My Heart's Country Born collection of clear rubber stamps. Just used some watercolor pencils to color it in. Under the scene is a piece of a belt that my son outgrew and gave me and the beige piece under the title is drawer liner material (sort of like that gripper pad I used on my Finn layout)! Thought you might get a kick out of that Marylou! :-)
The flakes around the edge are Stampendous Frantage Mica flakes. The green paper and title are from Hot Off The Press Chocolate Dipped Artful Card Kit. The other papers I've had in my stash for a coon's age!
