Picture was taken of a butterfly (in a butterfly house). I used several hoarded items (bg paper was hoarded--its been in my stash forever, the title letters were also hoarded (also from my stash) and the die cut butterfly was hoarded (also from my stash)
I tried using some new mixed media methods with this layout. on the Large butterfly I used clear medium with a stencil and then inked over it to give the pattern, I used paint with stencils to make the chevron pattern and the multicolor pattern. (the lighter purple background also has some stenciling on it, but its harder to see.) I inked over that with some chalks.
