This is my lo for the April Colour Challenge - Blue, Green and Yellow
It is, also, for the April Sports Challenge.
These are pics of my 2 sons when they played on an indoor soccer team. Normally I use green for soccer lo's because of the green grass they play on. However, these were INDOOR soccer pics, so no grass involved. I decided to use some green, anyway, because it makes me think of soccer, but I added the brick background paper to represent the building (I don't recall whether it was actually a brick building or not). I tucked some soccer ball stickers behind the brick pp so they peeked out from the edges.

I matted the pics on some yellow cardstocks. Then I decided to add a frame onto the group pic. I couldn't find a chipboard frame that was the right size and color, so I found the right size frame, turned it over to the 'bare' side and covered the frame with Washi Tape. I used the same Washi Tape to create photo corners on the other pic, too. I added a variety of stickers onto the lo, included a sports quote sticker.

I added the title on a strip at the bottom of the page. I didn't have enough "o"s in that set of alphas, so I found a soccer ball sticker that was about the size of the "o"s and used it for an "o". I did a bad job of spacing my title alphas and ended up with a big gap between the 2 words, so I decided to fill the gap with a sticker. I found the little ref sticker and thought it suited this lo (the 'player' stickers weren't wearing yellow jerseys. LOL) Since the sticker was transparent and my title was on a layered strip, I couldn't just apply the sticker directly to the page, so I put the sticker on a piece of cs, then tore around the edges of the sticker, inked the edges with gray, then added my ref between my title words.
