These are photos of my son who had, obviously, not gotten a haircut at all at college, so when he came home in the spring and the weather was getting warmer, he went for a haircut. I went along and, of course, had to take some photos!

I did this lo for the June Boys Only and for the MONTHLY SKETCH CHALLENGE - JUNE, Week 1 Sketch - the sketch can be found here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/91338698669086674/

I started with a piece of color core cs...black on green (his favorite color)..and sanded the edges to expose the green. For pp, I decided rulers and scissors made sense for these pics, so I cut the strips and matted the strips. I sanded the edges of the pics to give them a little definition and because my pics weren't the greatest quality, so I thought the distressed would be masculine and make the quality of the pics work better. I decided to use the writing paper for the background of the title, to go along with the idea that he had been away at school (sure, he wasn't away at kindergarten, but he is my baby, so it works for me :D ) I used the name of the barbershop as part of my title and because it amused me. I had a different idea for the alphas for my title, but I couldn't find one set of alphas that had all the letters I needed (OBVIOUSLY I need to go shopping for more alpha stickers...right?!) I used the red/white chevron sticker strip, because it was the only thing I could find in my stash that reminded me of a barber pole.
