Actually, when my brothers and sisters and I were in Kindergarten, my mom came into our classrooms with a little milk fat and some salt in a jar. She then had the entire class shake that jar to make the butter. Afterwards, we indeed ate it with saltine crackers. (They also market it at the farmers market here with saltines.) Fresh made butter is SO GOOD and the taste of the saltines doesn't get in the way. Like how you've done your journaling around the big circle and I'm a huge fan of the Note to Self collection. Oh and BTW, no I don't eat tubs of fresh butter by itself or anything.
Oh, I love saltines and butter. I've snacked on that since I was about Logan's age! This is really a fun design and page!! Love the journaling around the bottom circle edge!
Who would have realised that bread and butter could be so thrilling! Great layout - love the memory and the photos - make sure you add that journalling somewhere!
ummm I do - or would if I could find saltines here in the UK (actually I got away from it because of the calorie count but my Momma still eats them that way)
This is awesome - love the striped circle in the background and the photos are wonderful! How educational to learn to make butter! What an experience for him too - he will never forget how butter is made! Great layout!
My son made butter while touring a local farm. Here are pics of him consuming his creation. This really warmed my heart because my dad used to eat Saltines and butter (who does that?). Plus I love how my son was stuffing his face (made me laugh).
