We walked to the Tomb of the Prophets on the western slope of the Mount of Olives.

The Tomb of the Prophets is an ancient burial site which, according to medieval Jewish tradition also adopted by Christians, is believed to be the burial palce of Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi, the last three Hebrew Bible prophets.

The chamber forms two passages containing 38 burial niches. The entrance to the large rock-cut burial cave is on the western side where a staircase descends, flanked on both sides by a stone balustrade.

These photos were all taken at ground level, I do not have photos taken in the catacombs.
