Here's a spice rack I altered to put my acrylic paints, mists and tiny sprinkles in.

The first thing I did was paint the whole thing inside and out with white Gesso, then white acrylic paint. After that, I used a paper towel to rub on some Champagne Gold Metallic paint for a washed look. After that dried I used a dauber with Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters stamping ink and Tsukineko Brilliance pearlescent orchid over a stencil. Also inked up the knobs and raised circles on it. The pretty roses in each corner were taken from Pinterest. I just printed them out on cardstock and fussy cut them out. The resin piece at the top is Melissa Frances. It was all white and I just colored it in with markers. The metal embellies are Lalibieri. I dabbed the pearlescent orchid to tone them down a bit. I also used a little Tim Holtz clear rock candy crackle paint but I think it was a bit too old because it kind of yellowed. I can't decide if I like what it did and I may have to sand it off and start over.

Thank you for stopping by my gallery!
