What a wonderful story behind the layout! But I am not surprised. I have received supplies from many great people here. That's how it works. Your layout is precious and so well done.
I am thrilled to see the wreath paper used so perfectly, beautifully and wonderfully! What a great way to display this adorable photo - totally worth the wait!!!!
I am standing here sock-less, in awe of your layout. You absolutely nailed it. Love the random act of kindness - our world could use a lot more of that. The photo is perfect! Well Done!
You did a wonderful honor to her by how you've used this wreath. I like all the Christmas themed embellishments added on top of it... especially those glittery roses. Sorry, I keep commenting on all the bling on your LO's today for some reason. But you add the touches of it so nicely I guess.
such a striking wonderful page - the wreath really makes it but as usual you have so many other wonderful little details to keep your eye roving around the page
Fantastic!!! I think we all struggle with setting high expectations when challenged with that "OMG what a beautiful pp...can't live without it...gotta have it...I can't ruin it" syndrome. It's always such an awesome feeling when you get it done and you REALLY love it!
the layout was definitely worth the wait. Love the story. she does look quite proud of herself. The blingy dots and all the elements you added really make it your own.
This LO was made possible by ElisabethB. Last year I was ooh'ing and aweing over a gorgeous LO she made and how bumbed I was that SB.com sold out of these wreathes. So She sent me one...from Austria!!! Isn't that amazing? I hope this year was full of good luck to her for having done such a wonderful and thoughtful act of kindness. Now he is the clencher...I was totally afraid to use it! After all of that I was afraid nto to make something that would know your socks off. So I kept it in a special drawer and pulled it out over and over waiting for just the right photo and inspiration. Go figure it took a wholel year! But I have to say this might be my favorite LO I have made all year. Its fun and festive and...well It just screams CHRISTMAS!!!! So a HUGE thank you to Lisi! Please check out her gallery...she is an amazing artist.
DD was so excited to see Santa this year at our local fire station. All that week she thought of things she wanted to say to and ask Santa. Even waiting in line she kept her cool....it was only about 15 minutes, but it felt like forever...even to me. haha! Then the big moment came!!--> She was totally star struck, but kept her cool. All the questions and ideas flew out the window. She did mange to tell him she wanted a blue dinosaur for Christmas (already got it!) and muster a [very awkward] smile. But when she was done she felt like a superstar and that's what matters. Plus, I have noticed she has behaved a little better since that day too.
