My daughter and mom were incredibly close. I have always loved this photo of them, taken during a family trip to Italy in 2011. After my mom passed away 2015 following a 6 year battle with glioblastoma mutliforme, my daughter said to me, "I wish I could be sad without my eyes crying so much." She just couldn't stop the tears.
