Oh my! Reminds me of our Siberian. We didn't allow her in the kitchen (you know, that shedding 24/7, 365 thing) She would slide herself under the swinging doors that separated the kitchen and family rooms, so that her head was just inside the kitchen and she could feel as close as she could be. Really sweet page for her!
I know you are being a good doggie momma but her expression is so pitiful especially through the fence. You did a wonderful job on the layering and the stitching. Abby is so darn cute. She has the best little face.
OH OH OH HOW CUTE! I love everything you did on this page but having trouble taking my eyes off of that precious photo with the nose sticking through!!!!
love this--from the cute picture to the white bg, embossing, great title, stitching, and design--yes, love it; and aren't doggies just so so cute and loveable!
Wow!! This is such a great LO. I Love it. And Abigail looks so stinking cute. I love the grid stamp in combination with all those round shapes on the LO....it brings out the pattern on the fence and enhances all the lovey dovey stuff on the page too. Great job!
This is absolutely adorable Lisa - Poor Abigail! She is so tiny though, I can see why this is necessary when you aren't home or for her safety! What a little doll. I love all the hearts and your journaling is perfect. Love both titles - "Prisoner of Love" and "Solitary Confinement" - both are very appropriate and fitting. The pink paper with the cupids is just frosting on the cake for this one!
When I got Abigail, I got a doggie playpen for the corner of the kitchen. She's too small (and untrustworthy...) to leave loose when we're not home - and too small to crate if we're going to be gone for longer than a couple hours. Her bladder is too small. In the playpen, I have a pee pad on one side and her water bowl and some towels to sleep on on the other. Anyway, this is her looking at me through the side - it was a photo I took for a mini challenge - "Contained" - in POD back on February 14, 2010. Journaling says: Even at 3 yrs. old, Abby has to be confined to her playpen sometimes for her safety or when she's driving us crazy! It cracks me up the way she sticks her nose in the holes as if that 1/2 inch gets her closer to us.
This is my example for my February Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: Hearts. Players must have at least three hearts on a page, and to earn the twist, they must use at least 2 different heart products. I have wood, chipboard, epoxy, and punched hearts, as well as heart printed tickets and heart edge punching.
This is for 1) the February Music Challenge - Title. I used Prisoner of Love by Pat Benetar. I also used a lyric from the song, "solitary confinement, confined by the rules." For the embossing twist, I have wet and dry embossing. I stamped the grid pattern and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I die cut and embossed the title circle in my Cuttlebug.
2) the February Pet Challenge with the heart twist.
3) a VLB challenge to use hearts on a page.
I used an October 2015 PageMap. Her face looks dark in this photo of the LO, but IRL you can see her eyes much better in the picture. I doodled some stitching on the circle and around the outside of the LO.
