This is such a beautiful card. I love the stamping and embossing, and the metal trim is gorgeous. And, the quote on the inside of the card is equally beautiful. Thank you so much, Elizabeth!
Sheesh, missed this one too! I love this technique with embossing & stamping. Don't you just love those flourishes. I use them often for my butterfly trails. Love this card my friend!:)
You find the most interesting and beautiful things at Hobby Lobby. I need to leave the scrapbook aisles and take a look around. This is beautiful. That silver metal strip is wonderful.

I have been experimenting with Tim Holtz grunge paper that I've had for at least 3 years! It's actually quite fun! I just cut the 12x12 paper down for cardmaking size, ran it through my Big Shot with a Darice Argyle embossing folder, then inked it in with a foam applicator using TH Peacock Feathers and then rubbed Shabby Shutters over the top in places directly from the ink pad. Did some stamping on top of that. Added some stamping on the Hobby Lobby Tattered & Worn Designer Tag after running it through a Darice Damask embossing folder and inked over the raised edges with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet. The silver trim is actually metal, also from Hobby Lobby. It is the coolest stuff! The inspirational stamp is from Close To My Heart "Look to the Light".
