Family selfie pic at the beach in Ventura last summer. One of my happiest summer memories besides DDs birth of course!

This one's been giving me fits for weeks, my Scraplift the Person Before you page! I was blessed to lift from Lilymommy's gallery and boy did I have a tough time deciding! I knew I wanted to try this photo off the page thing she's been doing, but I just couldn't decide on the photos. I got this paper pad in the Hot Buy sale at M's last month during my spending spree and when I laid this photo over it, it just looked perfect. Then to decide how to make it work… been pushing the photo around and around for the last three weeks and finally made it happen last night! This is probably the least ‘embellished' page I've ever done, which is another challenge for me. The table I was sitting at for the crop yesterday, the really sweet gals there helped me muddle through this page and finally took it away from me when it was ‘done' and I kept going back to it. LOL! That's what friends are really for!

I chose to lift Lilymommy's page "Surfer Girl" seen here:

Except I only used one photo because the rest just made it too busy and covered up that fun bg! I loved how she kept the bg ppr simple to showcase the fun ppr. That's always been hard for me, but this time, I quite like it!

This is also for the Four Categories challenge: #4 Fussy Cutting with brad twist. I fussy cut and popped all the palm trees though you can really only see the biggest one is popped. That's because I was going for dimension and dimminishing objects by making the biggest one pop more witha pop dot. The others are only glued by their trunks. These trees gave me fits at the crop, but the result is really worth it! I love how So Cal this page looks and can't wait to hit the beach again!

Also for Hoarders as all the little embellies I've had forever except for the Paper House one.

TFL!
