My friend Cindy & I had lunch at the Space Needle while she was visiting me back in 2012. I made the elevator operator pose of him doing his thing, telling the history of the Needle. I added some fun facts, but kept them light and fun. I didn't like any of the selfies of me, but I just added it to the LO anyway using fun fact #5 as the observation deck is a fun place to take selfies! :)

I used the Destinations Cricut Cartridge for the Space Needle, turned it sideways on a 24x12 mat and made it as tall/long as I could get so I could just use the top 12 inches of the design. I embossed it for some texture, Stickled it so the outline of it didn't blend into the clouds on the pattern paper. The gold Space needle I cut out of a local magazine and tucked it behind my die cut to show the elevator.

The arrow font I used the Boys Will Be Boys Cricut Cartridge, and the 2 tiny black arrows peeking out from the top of the photo is just a partial of a die cut (elevator symbol) from the Going Places Cricut cartridge.

It's been awhile since I joined any challenges, but here goes...

I entered this in the NSD/May Cricut challenge, NSD Selfie Challenge & $10.00 Share & Win challenge.
