When I saw that the theme for this month was Fear, I knew that I had to do this layout. Change is one of MY BIGGEST fears. I hate it. But I have had to adjust to it, as most people do, and have somewhat accepted that it will never go away. Thanks for looking!

The Journaling States:

I fear change. In fact, I will avoid it at all costs, I have
stayed in jobs and relationships I have been miserable with just to avoid it.
Yes, I know that is bad but I thought security was worth it at the time.

As I have gotten older, I have finally stopped fighting change.
My body is changing, I am getting wrinkles in places that I would
rather not have them and my role as a mother is becoming different
as Charlotte gets older. It is going to be hard struggling
with these changes but I will adjust.

I now have a job after five and a half years of staying home
and it was a torturous process from the beginning. I had not filled
out an application or interviewed in years. And if I got the job, then what would I do? I have been working at the Glastonbury High School for over 2 months now and my fears have been a little alleviated. Going back to work has not been all that bad. Having money again to spend on myself and getting my identity of self back are just two of the perks that this change has brought to my life. Is it nor written that we should face our fears? I guess I have and you know what? It is not that bad!
