Terrific page!! I feel your pain with the remodel issues. I will eventually do a page for each interior room from our renovation adventure. I love all of your fun elements on this!
what a great collage! Good luck with your bathroom remodelling...interesting to read it from the 'other side of the fence' as my husband is a builder and our company specialises in bathroom renovations!!
I can't help myself-What's a phone booth?! Lol Sadly most Americans wouldn't be able to fit in one these days. Your LO is fabulous. Did you add the words you wrote above somewhere on your LO?
Really neat design! I like the stitching and the staples. You are lucky that you get a bathroom remodel. We are going through one right now and it's so exciting! Your lo reminds me that I really should be taking pictures.
Last year I was going to clean our ginormous jetted tub when hubby said don't use water and of course I said why? Because the tub leaked so I knew I was busted because I obviously didn't remember he had ever told me the tub leaked. So we had this shower that was the size of a phone booth (remember those things) and they cut off one of the corners that made it even smaller. So I said we have this tiny shower and a tub we never used, this is ridiculous!! So he said you want to remodel? Well of course I would but we had never had a professional remodeling job so I knew it would be expensive and daunting. So we went talking to friends trying to hire someone running into brick walls for some reason or another. Oh that person did a great job, but had retired, this person does good work but you have to keep an eye on him! We got an estimate from a local interiors store that had the proviso that we use product from them or we would be charged 15% for anything that we didn't get from them. I showed the estimate to my friends who picked it apart so we didn't go with them. So what we did was hire a designer, but my husband had already done a floor plan so she started with that and when she came over the designer and my husband talked me out of having a bathtub. So we went from there and I had told the designer we were not in a hurry first and foremost because there were so many decisions to be made. She was told to call me Coreen, because only my friends get to call me Corky and I didn't think we were going to be friends. She suggested what order we do things, plus shops to go to, but we had already done some shopping and looking before we met her. I looked at HOUZZ a lot and that gave me ideas. We were originally going to have a glassless walk-in shower 42" x 67" because I had seen that idea a decade ago when we went to a open house at a Sunset Idea House. The idea houses feature the latest in home design and they feature the newest products as well and that walk-in shower idea stayed with me. This is for the Multi-Pic, Stamping, Sewing and 5 Ingredient Challenges. Hope I didn't bore you too much, but I always appreciate hearing from you my friends!
