This is my lo for the JUNE SCRAPLIFT THE PERSON BEFORE YOU Challenge. I found this fabulous lo in Njr007's gallery: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/266921/view/5157405/-1/720/0.html and loved her page design! I decided to use it for this b/w photo of my son when he was young (he's 22 now!) I created my own chevron stripes and decided to outline them with the red/white twine. I had so much fun finding things to use for my embellishment banner! I did move my title from the position it was in on the original lo, but I wanted to use this phrase I cut from a piece of pp, but didn't want it to hide my chevron stripes. I moved my journaling, too, to some little flying banners at the top of the pic, since it would be hard to write the jorunaling onto my background pp like the original had.
