We boarded a hop-on hop-off bus - first stop, the Kon-Tiki Museum. The Kon-Tiki Museum was originally built to house the Kon-Tiki, a raft of balsa wood of pre-Columbian model that Norwegian adventurer Thor Heyerdahl (1914-2002) used to sail from Peru to Polynesia in 1947. I remember learning about the Kon-Tiki and when I was in school; it never occured to me that I would actually see it someday!
